Mostly photos. I passed a little shrine nearby which was spilling bounty all over the ground, and couldn't resist collecting one or two relatively unbruised fruits. Washed and cut they were tart and tasty; I'm tempted to go ask the priest (?) if I can have permission to pick the ones remaining on the trees when they're ripe, it's such a waste otherwise.

Also a(n ex-?) storefront with a very weird sign; it made me giggle a lot, but the joke requires both reading Japanese kana and being somewhat familiar with Yiddishisms. Phonetically, it says: nu?

Also some more flowers, all apparently inspired by the colors of the apricots.

Be safe and well.

Hmmm apricots. <3 I always find public trees that noone picks a waste, too.

Date: 2021-06-21 10:42 am (UTC)I went back to the apricot shrine today, but there was nobody there and I didn't have the nerve to ring the bell on the associated house...maybe Wednesday.
