On sibling relationships

Mostly because I find the congruence of these quotations funny, and also I'm curious about whether anyone on my f-list falls into the center of this particular Venn diagram.

Adding tags doesn't change anything else on the post and doesn't send any notifications, no.

Pretty sure it doesn't notify people or redate the posts. I routinely add tags to comm posts without any other flow-on effects, afaik.

My siblings and I don't fight. We drift in and out of contact, but I can't remember ever having arguments that led to hurt feelings where apologies would be called for. I tend to assume sibling relationships in media are heightened, but I know some people do tend more that way.

I'm an only child and it's all very much a mystery to me, because sibling relationships both in real life and in media seem to cover such a wide range (from best friends to lifelong enemies to complete indifference, along with all the variations in between...). Fascinating to read about.

Re: sibling relationships, while I do enjoy the Yunmeng siblings' dynamic, it's not really something I much see in real life. I don't really fight with my siblings, ever, so I tend to find most TV sibling relationships not hugely relatable? Often fun, but not relatable. Then again, my favourite CQL thing is the Twin Jades dynamic, which probably makes sense in that light.

yeah, I'm an only child and so I just kind of take sibling relationships on faith, whether seeing them in media or in real life. (I also have a soft spot for Lan Xichen and his big-brotherly love, so I'm with you on that front, nice icon...).
(Also, while I missed commenting, I was looking back at your "WIP titles" post, and all your Guardian WIPs look amazing!)
