I tend to assume sibling relationships in media are heightened, but I know some people do tend more that way.
I'm an only child and it's all very much a mystery to me, because sibling relationships both in real life and in media seem to cover such a wide range (from best friends to lifelong enemies to complete indifference, along with all the variations in between...). Fascinating to read about.
